Welcome to Covered Bridge Haunted Trails! We are 3 weeks away from Halloween! CBT will be following the city of Crystal Lake’s trick-or-treating which will fall on Monday the 31st. We have a fun filled afternoon planned for our CBT family! Pumpkin carving contest- pumpkins will be dropped off at participating households doorstep on Oct 20th/21st and asked to be returned to Pilcher park by Oct 27th. Voting will open on the Friday October 28th with the winner announced on Halloween. We will have an awesome prize for the 1st place winner!! Hayride- We will have a Spooky hayride departing from Pilcher park for a festive ride around the neighborhood. This will not be taking the kids trick or treating due to safety reasons, but will make stops at the circles to let people in or out or to let kids catch a break from walking. We ask that parents accompany their young children. Warm up station- We will have a warm up station down at the park for our trick-or-treaters with hot apple cider, hot coco, water, and s’mores. Bring a chair and enjoy the fire and festivities! Haunted trail- We will have a small family friendly haunted trail on Halloween at the park for our brave ones!! Gravestone decorating- we have gravestones that can be dropped off along with chalk to any interested household that would like to add their funny/creativeness to the Haunted trail.
